OSSENDOWSKI F.A. [Ferdinand Antoni]

LENIN

Numerous illustrations

Polish Publisher R. Wegner 1930., pp. 471, format 15.5x24 cm

"The novel was already translated into several European languages before World War II, includingGerman, French and Italian. It contributed to the knowledge of the truth about theOctober Revolution in Russia in Western Europe. In Italy, after the intervention of the Soviet embassy in 1932, the book was confiscated, while part of the print run was destroyed. Ossendovsky was the first to strike at the myth of Lenin - the idol of the working and peasant masses." Source: wkipedia.org.

Due to the fact that the author was a staunch anti-communist, in communist Poland Ossendowski's books were withdrawn from libraries and his name was totally erased and covered by a censorship clause, he was not even allowed to be mentioned in any publications.
