Antoni Teslar (French by origin) is one of the most famous Polish cooks. For more than 35 years he served as cook to his excellency Governor Andrzej hr. Potocki coat of arms Pilawa (1861-1908) at the Potocki estate in Krzeszowice. Teslar's recipes for vegetable and fruit preserves and fruit wines were honored at national exhibitions in Krakow and Lviv.
The collection of exquisite recipes offered here, along with examples from the antebellum raves and balls of upper-class life, includes recipes for:
