Edited and illustrated by Kazimierz Alchimowicz (1840-1916) - painter, "Munich painter", pupil of Wojciech Gerson, great admirer of the works of Adam Mickiewicz. He was a deportee after the January Uprising. He painted Lithuanian historical and legendary themes, landscapes from his native Vilnius, Tatra landscapes, portraits, genre and religious scenes.
