Writer and screenwriter Zofia Dromlewiczowa was an activist of the Polish Film House from 1925. For many years she cooperated as a film publicist with numerous Warsaw magazines. Since 1934 she ran an art film studio together with Ryszard Briske. She was a member of the Association of Short Film Producers, the first female short film maker in Poland.
