The biography of this bookbinder reads, among other things, that: "he was regarded as the best Krakow bookbinder of his time, his works were characterized by a high technical and artistic level." [Słownik pracown. książki polskiej. W-wa 1972, p. 1033].
Condition DB/ minor abrasions of binding, dedication on the piece preceding the front cover, rust spots on the boards and on the blotters preceding the engravings, discoloration of the paper in places, cracks in the block, despite minor defects EFFECTIVE EQUIPMENT.
