Five of Raymond Chandler's most famous short stories! The collection Trouble is My Specialty consisted of four Chandler short stories featuring Philip Marlowe. As a curiosity, it is worth mentioning that Marlowe's name did not originally appear in them, and this detective appeared only in the novel Deep Sleep, but undoubtedly the genesis of him was these several short novels as explained by Raymond Chandler in a letter to James Sandoe& in 1950. Eight years later there was one more short story with this private detective Pencil, which in this edition was added to those legendary texts.
